Since our launch in Chile in 2018, we've already seen a remarkable increase in a patient's chances of finding a matching unrelated donor, rising from 30% to 50%.

With the new center, we will be able to double the country's annual collection capacity. This is a very important step in our efforts to lower the barriers to transplantation, especially for the Hispanic-Latin American population. With increasing requests for DKMS donors from Chile for patients in the country and worldwide, existing collection capacities in the country have been stretched. The opening of our collection center will ensure a timely response to transplant centers' requests, ensuring that patients receive the treatment they need, when they need it.
