Hap-E Search® Web Application

Hap-E Search® enables transplant center physicians or coordinators to independently search and request more than eleven million donors from DKMS donor centers in Germany, the UK, Poland, Chile, India and South Africa. Requests for DKMS donors can be initiated and the progress of a running request can be tracked via the application. In addition to an automated, user-specific notification system via email, the users are informed about important updates of requests such as available typing results, IDM results or cancellations of requests by our DKMS search coordinators.

Who can use Hap-E Search®?

Hap-E Search® is available for transplant centers in countries without national registry wishing to access the worldwide donor pool via DKMS Registry. The use of Hap-E Search® is directly linked to our Search and Request Support for these transplant centers. It includes support in donor search and selection, as well as support in the selection and request of stem cell donors from other international registries.

Hap-E Search® can only be used after approval by DKMS Registry. Data processing is governed by the regulations of the EU-GDPR. Therefore, strict security policies apply to the software and the security of the system is regularly tested. All users are required to use a multi-factor authentication to log into the system.
