Donor Search Process

Find here our Services about the Donor Search Process.
Donor Search Process
Preliminary Search Request
Searches can be submitted as a preliminary search request to check whether transplantation of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cells is appropriate.
Donor Search Process
Typing Request
All new DKMS donors are typed to the highest standards, using high resolution, next-generation sequencing, which also allows parallel analysis.
Donor Search Process
Infectious Disease Marker (IDM) Testing
An infectious disease markers report for a donor can be requested before Confirmatory Typing to determine a single IDM parameter or the entire set of all common IDMs.
Donor Search Process
Confirmatory Typing and Health and Availability Check (HAC) request
Once a donor has been shortlisted, Confirmatory Typing (CT) is the process of determining which donor is the most suitable for the patient.
