Follow-up Services

The health and well-being of our donors is our top priority. Our Follow-up and Donor–Patient Contacts teams (FU/DPC) are responsible for the post-donation care and follow-up for all our DKMS donors, as well as for any communication between the donor and patient.

Donor Exclusion
If a donor decides post donation that he wants to be removed from our database, a FU/DPC Coordinator will inform the transplant center (TC) or registry.

Anonymous Contact and Release of Personal Information
Once a donation has been successfully performed, donor and patient can start sending anonymous letters.
